Within each painting, you will find one small, recognizable object, painted realistically in intricate detail. Except for this bit of trompe l’oeil (French for “fool the eye”), these paintings bear no resemblance to reality. They are flowing visual conversations in which the viewer supplies the words. Enjoy the incongruity.
